Finally, nearly twelve years after the first meeting at the Aqus Café, after about 75 Know Before You Grow forums, after our first Better Cities Film Festival, after building a reputation for insightful comment on local land-use matters, and much more, Petaluma Urban Chat will have its first official annual meeting.

As further noted below under Upcoming Meetings, we’ll meet Wednesday evening at the LivXplore Realty office, next door to the Petaluma Historical Library & Museum.  As of now, the anticipated agenda will have a review of where we’ve been, a summary of who we are today, thoughts about where we go next, election of a board of directors, and initial actions by the newly elected board.

Everyone is welcome.  However, only Urban Chat members may vote for the board of directors.  Urban Chat membership requires acknowledgment of the adopted bylaws and annual dues of $50 or $5 per month.  You may bring checks to the Wednesday evening meeting or visit the Urban Chat Donate page here.  On-line contributions will be acknowledged by our fiscal sponsor, Petaluma Peoples Services Center, for crediting to our account.

All of us who have committed ourselves to what Urban Chat has accomplished and will accomplish are looking forward to Wednesday evening!
